Terms of service
These terms describe use of Notemai, provided by Marius Macarenco. Contact marius.macarenco@gmail.com with questions. Your use of the App Store app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and applicable Apple terms.
Your account and content
Keep your account secure and use the service lawfully. You retain your rights to your notes and other content. You permit the processing of that content needed to provide the features you choose, including synchronization, sharing, or online AI. Only upload and share content you have the right to use. Do not use Notemai to infringe others' rights, distribute unlawful material, abuse other users, or interfere with the service.
AI features
AI output may be incorrect or incomplete. Review important answers against reliable sources. You are responsible for how you use generated material. Notemai is a study tool and does not replace qualified professional advice. Online AI requires your permission, a network connection, and any applicable plan allowance. On-device features depend on supported hardware, available storage, and model availability.
Subscriptions and purchases
The App Store purchase sheet shows the price, currency, billing period, and any trial or introductory offer before confirmation. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your account may be charged within 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel through Apple Account subscription settings. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that offering.
One-time purchases do not automatically renew. A lifetime offering provides the entitlement described at purchase; it does not promise unlimited online AI usage. Features and allowances are described in the app. Apple handles payment and refund requests under its policies and applicable law. Deleting Notemai or your Notemai account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Availability and backups
Features may be unavailable during maintenance, network outages, provider failures, or on unsupported devices. Keep exports or backups of important content. We may restrict misuse or suspend access when necessary to protect the service and its users.
Privacy and ending use
The privacy policy explains data handling. You can stop using Notemai and initiate account deletion in Settings. Export content you wish to keep first, and separately cancel any subscription you no longer want.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law. Apple is not responsible for providing Notemai support. Contact marius.macarenco@gmail.com for assistance.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. The current terms and effective date will be published here. Material changes will be communicated when required by applicable law.
